Schneider Electric recalls series of breaker boxes due to fire hazard

Breaker boxes across the region from a company with a presence in Tualatin are being recalled because of a loose screw connection, which can lead to overheating, thermal burns and fire hazards.

Schneider Electric is recalling breaker boxes due to a loose screw connection that can lead to fires.

Schneider Electric alerted customers that any QO Plug-On Neutral Load Centers manufactured between Feb. 1, 2020, and Jan. 12, 2022, at Schneider Electric Plant 15, based in El Paso, Texas, could pose serious risks to property and person.
